Waltham 16S 21J adj. 5p Crescent St. pocket watch #17010841, beautiful nickel bridge movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and an elaborate checkerboard and concentric circle damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy black Arabic-style numbers, red 5 minute markers and a subsidiary seconds register has a few short hairlines, blue steel spade & whip style hands, re-cased into an attractive yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with a large fancy blank monogram shield accented with a few large blossoms, coin-edge frame and a heavy bow, case is showing normal moderate wear overall with notable smoothing on the engraved elements, some small spots of brass starting to show on the frame & pendant and a small cluster of scratches on the back bezel by the pendant, possibly from where the bow was pushing a watch chain swivel onto the case, measures approx. 50mm diameter x 67mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A high grade and attractive vintage Waltham from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
