Hamilton 16S 17J adj. grade 974 pocket watch #853474, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic style numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, blue steel moon-style hands, heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case, case is showing normal even wear overall with some brass showing on the bow and a bit of heavier wear on the back cover that is not yet brass but is a bit duller than the surrounding area, additionally the crown is a replacement, measures approx. 50mm diameter x 79mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A simple, elegant high quality vintage Hamilton from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
