Rockford 16S 17J lever set (LS) adj. 5p Winnebago grade 405 pocket watch #726368, attractive nickel 3-finger bridge movement with screw-down jewel settings, a gold center wheel and a fish-scale damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic-style numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a small cluster of hairlines at 7 o'clock, blue steel spade & whip style hands, re-cased into a lovely yellow gold filled (YGF) fully engraved screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with a center focal design of a spread-winged song bird perched on the edge of the large blank oval monogram shield which is then surrounded by large floral and geometric patterns to the edge of the case, deep floral and vermicelli engraved bezels, frame and pendant; fancy bow with floral engraving, case is showing normal even wear overall with some smoothing to the engraving in places and a few small spots of brass on the back bezel & bow, additionally it does appear the crown is a replacement, measures approx. 48mm diameter x 61mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). A very handsome, high quality Rockford that was considered a railroad grade at the time of production in the early 1900s, in excellent overall condition!
