Ball-Waltham 16S 19J lever set (LS) adj. 5p Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen (BRT) Official Railroad Standard pocket watch #B0505553, impressive nickel split plate movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), gold center wheel and a concentric circle damascene pattern, additionally the movement is marked with a gold flashed circle engraved with "BRT", single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic-style numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register is marked "Trademark BRT Standard Ball & Co. Cleveland" with the "BRT" in multi-colored greens and red, dial has a faint hairline at 4 o'clock and a few small flakes at the edge near the lever, blue steel spade style hands.
Classic yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish screw back & bezel (SB&B) case has been engraved with a detailed center design of "BRT" surrounded by images of a flags and a train lantern, coin edge engraved accents on the frame, French style bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing light even wear overall with a thin line of brass starting on the lower frame and bezels, near the pendant and on the interior of the bow, additionally the glass crystal does have some light scratches and we can replace the crystal with a new plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 49mm diameter x 65mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A very high grade railroad grade Ball watch from the early 1900s, especially desirable to a collector for the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen customization and the multi-colored accent on the dial, in excellent+ overall condition!
