Burlington by Illinois 16S 21J adj. grade 108 pocket watch #3361018, impressive nickel bridge movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold train & center wheel and a bar-style damascene pattern, matte gold-toned single sunk (SS) metal dial with a deep engraved imitation double sunk line, bold black fancy Arabic style numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some light patina along with some fading & damage to a few of the numbers, gold steel spade & whip style hands, eye-catching Burlington fully engraved yellow gold filled (YGF) hunting case (HC) with both sides engraved with a background of tight engine turning over which bold vertical line panels filled with floral designs flank upper & lower flags pointing to the fancy monogram shield in the center, this design is then ringed by an elaborate circle with a very tight crosshatch finish that then has smooth polish floral & geometric designs within, monogram shield on one side is blank and on the reverse contains a fancy monogram "CMC", large heavy bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with a small bit of brass starting on the interior bow and a small spot of discoloration near one of the hinges, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 67mm in length x 13mm thick. A beautiful, triple signed high grade watch from the early 1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
