Waltham 18S 15J key wind pocket watch #463293, handsome gilt full plate movement with a brushed finish, screw-down jewel settings and an elaborately engraved balance bridge is marked "Waltham Watch Co.", single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register is also marked "American Waltham Watch Co." dial has some faint hairlines, fancy blue steel spade & whip style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish white base metal (WBM) hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case with gold hinges, an extra large heavy bow and an extra thick glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with a very faint scratch on the crystal and various hand-inscribed initials & names on many of the interior-back surfaces, measures approx. 58mm in diameter x 87mm in length x 22mm thick. A heavy & impressive vintage Waltham from the 1870s in excellent overall condition!
