Hamilton 16S 19J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 952 pocket watch #840154, attractive nickel bridge layout movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS) and a bar style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline at 10 o'clock, blue and red steel spade & whip style double hour hands, hands are currently set one hour apart for helping to track which time it is in adjoining time zones.
Re-cased into a yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish case with a fancy monogram shield surrounded by large floral engravings, single initial in the shield is possibly an elaborate "F", fancy pendant details creating a French bow look and a glass crystal, case is showing normal to moderate wear, with an unusual wear pattern on the back cover with some smoothing to the engraving and a few spots of brass on the frame, bezels, pendant & bow, additionally there is a small scratch on the surface and a flake at the edge of the crystal, we can replace it with a new plastic crystal at no charge on request, measures approx. 48mm in diameter x 64mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An attractive, high quality railroad grade Hamilton with a desirable dual hour display from the early 1900s in very good overall condition, perfect to carry everyday!
