Illinois 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 6p Bunn Special 60 hour 161A Elinvar pocket watch #5562982, beautiful nickel split plate movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold train & center wheel and a fancy concentric circle filled with radiant line damascene pattern, this model has "Elinvar" engraved under the balance wheel & bridge, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, black minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a pair of very short, faint hairlines, purple steel spade & whip style hands, impressive white gold filled (WGF) smooth polish Bunn Special model 181 screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with deeply engraved short & long bar designs on the bezels, a stepped frame, heavy stepped shoulders supporting a recessed crown, a heavy engraved fancy bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with some spots of brass starting on the frame, shoulders & bow, measures approx. 52mm in diameter x 64mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An eye-catching, high quality triple signed Illinois watch from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
