Illinois 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 6p Bunn Special pocket watch #4640556, beautiful nickel split plate movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold train & center wheel and a radiant sunburst style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, black minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairlines at 1 o'clock, purple steel spade & whip style hands.

Re-cased into a heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish Bunn Special model screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with bezels engraved with a bar & ball pattern, an elaborate engraving on the back of five swirls around a large flower in the center, a short heavy pendant with a slightly recessed crown and a heavy engraved fancy bow, case is showing moderate wear with some notable smoothing on the engraving on the bezels & bow along with brass showing on all the case components; while this is the correct model case for the watch, we believe the case held a different model of watch previously and now has an additional set of screw-marks present on the frame, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 64mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An impressive, high quality triple signed Illinois watch from the 1920s in very good overall condition, perfect to carry everyday!
