Waltham 18S 21J lever set (LS) adj. Crescent St. pocket watch #7010289, handsome nickel full plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings, a gold star regulator and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline at 10 o'clock and a small ring of discoloration in the seconds bit, likely from the second hand dragging on the dial over time, fancy blue steel fleur de lis-style hands, re-cased into a heavy fully engraved yellow gold filled (YGF) hunting case (HC) with engine turning across both covers, one side has a large fancy blank monogram surrounded by floral designs and the reverse has a small blank monogram button, sloped bezels, vermicelli engraving on the frame, a large heavy bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with some light smoothing to the edges of the engine turning and some small spots of brass on the bezels, frame, pendant, bow & interior of the front cover, measures approx. 55mm in diameter x 78mm in length x 19mm thick. A beautifully finished high grade Waltham from the 1890s in excellent overall condition!
