Waltham 18S 17J lever set (LS) adj. P.S. Bartlett pocket watch #12034380, beautiful 2-tone nickel full plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold star regulator and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern that has been accented with a wide gold flashed center detail, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline at 4 o'clock and a small flake at the edge of the dial at 9 o'clock, blue steel spade style hands.
Impressive 14k (marked) engraved hunting case (HC) with engine turning over both covers finished with a smooth polish sloped bezel, one side has a large fancy blank monogram shield surrounded by floral engraving while the reverse side has a small monogram button, coin edge engraved frame, a large bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with some light smoothing to the engravings, a small dent on the bezel near the case lip on the back cover and a bit of notable thinning from use on the top of the bow, case measures approx. 53mm in diameter x 78mm in length x 17mm thick, weighs approx. 81.2dwt (watch included). A very high quality vintage solid gold cased Waltham from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
