Wittnauer 17J grade 9WNG wrist watch, case #4002673, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels, mint white metal dial with a matte finish, raised gold markers with small faceted diamonds set into the 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock markers and a seconds register marked at 6 o'clock, slender silver steel baton-style hands with pointed tips, lovely yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish asymmetrical thin-model case with a wider span at the top of the case tapering gently to a narrow width at the bottom, top heavy curved extended lugs and narrow extended lugs at the bottom, case is showing only light even wear overall with a few thin lines of brass starting to show on the inside edge of the lugs, likely from a previous band rubbing the lugs, measures approx. 27mm wide at the top/23mm wide at the bottom x 38mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), heavily textured black leather band. A very high quality and distinctive vintage wrist watch from the 1950s in excellent+ condition!
