Longines 17J grade 23ZS wrist watch #9440380, case #1014 240094, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel bridge layout movement with raised gold jewel settings (GJS) and bold red ruby jewels, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, raised gold fancy Arabic-style numbers and markers and an interior ring of black minute markers, dial has a few small specks of discoloration but no notable scratches or damage, faceted gold steel wedge-style hands and a gold sweep second hand, classic yellow gold filled (YGF) round smooth polish case with a narrow tapered bezel supporting a heavy domed plastic crystal and fancy 3-plane faceted extended lugs, case is showing light even wear overall with a small scratch on the bezel at 10 o'clock and a few small lines of brass just starting to show on the lug edges, measures approx. 32mm in diameter x 40mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), mixed style bracelet and expansion band, 1 1/2" YGF & stainless steel (SS) curved band segments on each side of the watch have a smooth polish border around a basket-weave style design with a 2 1/2" section of yellow gold plated (YGP) & SS expansion band with wide smooth polish segments connecting them to complete the band, YGF segments are showing light even wear while the YGP expansion section does have some lines of discoloration on a few segments from wear. An elegant and high quality vintage watch from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
