Bulova 21J grade 7AK 49 wrist watch, case #L0 2903124, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with screw-down jewel settings and bold red ruby jewels, unusual single sunk (SS) gold-toned metal dial with a vertical line engraving pattern, raised gold pyramid-shaped markers, fancy black with white outline 12, 3 & 9 o'clock Arabic numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, dial has some patina discoloration over quite a bit of the dial surface but no notable scratches or serious defects, bold blue steel wedge-style hands, distinctive yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular case with a horizontal line scalloped (or coin edge) design over the top of the narrow bezels and narrow extended lugs with curved ends, design wraps around the sides to cover the frame as well, flat top domed glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear overall with some small lines of brass showing on the edges of the lugs and frame, along with some small nicks and short scratches along the edge of the crystal, measures approx. 22mm wide x 36mm lug to lug x 7mm thick (crystal included), deeply textured black leather strap band. A high grade, eye-catching vintage Bulova from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
