Longines 17J grade 23Z wrist watch #8696379, case #1969 1970856, handsome nickel bridge vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with raised gold jewel settings, a gold balance wheel, bold red ruby jewels and a brushed finish, single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with a tight engine turned engraving under the fancy raised gold Arabic numbers and markers and a smooth polish finished square subsidiary seconds register, dial does have some discoloration on the lower-right along with some patina on a few of the numbers and markers, fancy gold steel wedge-style hands, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular smooth polish case with a steeply sloped bezel supporting a flat-top domed glass crystal and faceted short tapered extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall with a number of shallow, short scratches across the frame & lugs however no brass, measures approx. 26mm wide x 37mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), new padded lightly textured brown leather strap band. An elegant, high quality vintage Longines from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
