Hampden 17J lever set (LS) adj. grade "The Four Hundred" wrist watch #3082970, 3-0S 3-finger bridge nickel vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with raised screw-down jewel settings and a bar-style damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) white fancy enamel dial with elaborate black Arabic numbers, black and gold filigree minute markers, gold and green gold floral filigree designs in a pseudo imitation double sunk line and a white subsidiary seconds register, dial does have a few hairlines, heavy blue steel spade & whip style hands, heavy yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped case with a wide sloped bezel supporting the domed plastic crystal, floral engraving along the frame, time-set lever at 5 o'clock and short heavy extended lugs; while it appears this case has only been used with this watch the case is a re-case and not factory original to the watch, case is showing normal even wear overall with some spots of discoloration on the lugs and frame edge, measures approx. 31mm wide x 38mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), new highly textured very dark brown leather strap band. A high grade and attractive pocket watch from the early 1900s that has been repurposed into an attractive wrist watch in excellent overall condition!
