Wittnauer 17J grade 11BG3 wrist watch, case #2017 502637, handsome vintage mechanical manual-wind split plate nickel movement with bold red ruby jewels and a wide bar-style damascene, mint single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with fancy gold raised art-deco style Arabic numbers, an unusual basket-weave design engraving pattern and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, gold steel wedge style hands and a black second hand, classic thin-model round yellow gold filled (YGF) & stainless steel (SS) smooth polish case with a tapered bezel and fancy tapered chevron-style extended lugs, unusual case back extends past the normal round section and offers a little more durability from wear, case is showing light even wear overall with a few light scuffs on the plastic crystal, measures approx. 32mm in diameter x 39mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), new lightly padded black leather strap band. An elegant, high quality vintage watch from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
