Hamilton 19J grade 982M wrist watch #M47056, case #5372961, handsome vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with raised gold jewel settings and a bar-style damascene pattern, champagne-toned metal dial with raised fancy gold Arabic-style numbers, black minute markers and a black marked seconds register has some patina and a few small scratches, gold steel wedge style hands, heavy 14k gold Hamilton "Donald" model rectangular case with a narrow rounded bezel supporting a domed acrylic crystal and slender tapered extended lugs that have a slight offset from the frame on the sides of the case, inscription on back "S.C.F. 5-28-69", case is showing normal even wear as expected however the crystal does have a few notable scratches, measures approx. 21mm wide x 36mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), case only weighs approx. 4.6dwt, new lightly textured heavily padded brown leather strap band. A simple, elegant solid gold Hamilton from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
