Elaine 6J adj. 2p wrist watch #1027, attractive vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel bridge movement with a bold red ruby balance wheel jewel and a brushed finish, single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, fancy engraved imitation double sunk line, fancy Arabic luminous numbers with a black outline and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a light patina across the dial along with a few small scratches, blue steel skeletonized spade & wedge style hands.
Heavy rectangular white base metal (WBM) chrome case with deeply engraved geometric patterns on the bezel, frame & lugs that have been finished with black enamel, slightly flared sides, short curved extended lugs and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear overall with some heavy wear on the back cover, missing enamel in a number of the engravings and a small line of discoloration around the crystal where the crystal cement has yellowed with age, measures approx. 26mm wide x 37mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), lightly textured, lightly padded black leather strap band with an engraved WBM buckle that matches the watch case engraving.
Also comes with a brown leatherette Gardner-Rosencrans Co. (Longmont, CO) jeweler's box with a white satin and fitted black velvet interior and a Elaine-Goering Watch Co guarantee card. An early mechanical wind wrist watch from the 1930s in very good overall condition!
