Wittnauer 17J grade 10E wrist watch, handsome nickel bridge vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels and a brushed finish, single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with raised fancy gold Arabic numbers, a brushed finish and a black-marked square subsidiary seconds register has some small spots of discoloration and a little patina around a few of the numbers, gold steel wedge-style hands, attractive yellow gold filled (YGF) & stainless steel (SS) square smooth polish case with a narrow bezel supporting a thick domed glass crystal, stepped-down center case extensions support fancy sculpted extended lugs, brass crown, case is showing normal even wear overall with some small spots of brass starting to show on the lugs and around the crown, which may be a replacement to the case, measures approx. 25mm wide x 39mm lug to lug x 12mm thick (crystal included), fancy YGF & SS partial-expansion band has 3 large rectangular panels on each side of the watch inlaid with small squares of deeply textured dark brown leather which are then connected along the back of the watch with a section of expansion band comprised of narrow wide rectangular segments with a recessed center detail. A high quality and attractive vintage watch from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
