Kenneth Jay Lane 17J wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels, white metal dial with "one" through "twelve" written out in fancy black script has a few small specks of discoloration but no heavy scratches or damage, black steel Breguet moon-style hands and a black sweep second hand, heavy yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) oval water-resistant case with a sloped bezel supporting a domed plastic crystal, tall walled frame and hidden lugs, case is showing normal moderate wear overall with some discoloration on the bezel edge and crown and some light scuffs on the crystal, measures approx. 34mm wide x 40mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), new deeply textured dark brown leather strap band. A distinct vintage watch from the late 1960s or early 1970s from a well known jewelry designer of that era in very good overall condition!
