16" 2-tone vermeil & blue enamel multi-strand straight-style pocket watch chain with a fancy t-bar, all components of this chain, unless otherwise noted, are created from a coin silver base that has been plated with gold to form the vermeil (a.k.a. silver gilt) material, three strands of lightweight box-link chain are bound together with diamond-shaped finials to create 48mm long segments, four of these segments are then connected together with heavy elaborate puffed oval links with raised silver flower designs on both sides and small side loops, each of the side loops supports a small tassel of two strands of the box-link chain finished with small ball finials and capped at the top with a stepped rectangular finial accented with panels of blue enamel.

There are ten tassels total along the length of the chain, at the end of each side of the chain the final two long segments narrow down to two box-link chain strands that are capped at each end with the same blue-enamel accented rectangular finials as are found on the tassels, one side has a medium-sized smooth polish screw-down swivel clasp while the other side has a small length of round links that then connects to the medium-sized fancy t-bar with engraved ball designs on each end and a raised center cuff swivel detail.

The chain is showing normal light wear overall with no notable damage to the metal components however a few of the enamel accents are damaged or missing, additionally it appears that the gold plating on a number of areas is beginning to wear off display the silver base, adding to the 2-tone effect that the silver flowers already produced on the oval links, measures approx. 410mm in length, the oval links measure approx. 13mm wide (loops included) x 15mm long x 4mm thick, weighs approx. 26.4dwt. The provenance on this vintage chain has it being purchased from a watch & jewelry shop in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul circa 2018.
