Waltham 12S 15J grade No. 220 pocket watch #16722253, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down jewel settings and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a few faint hairlines near 3 o'clock, blue steel spade style hands, attractive Roy 14k (marked) hinged swing out (SRC) smooth polish case with a recessed hinge, deeply sculpted long pendant, a French-style bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal moderate wear with a few small patches of notable scuffing on the back from both the bow being rubbed against the case and from typical wear, additionally the movement ring does fit very snugly into the back cover and there are a number of short deep scratches by the case lip from opening attempts over the years, measures approx. 44mm in diameter x 59mm in length x 11mm thick (crystal included). An elegant solid gold Waltham dress watch from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
