Waltham 14S 13J lever set (LS) adj. Hillside pocket watch #2255006, attractive gilt 3/4 plate movement with a brushed finish, engraved balance bridge and foot, and screw-down jewel settings; mint single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with bold Roman numerals and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, black steel spade & whip style hands, impressive coin silver hunting case (HC) with full engine turning on both covers with deep geometric & floral engraving at the top and bottom, one side has a small button engraved design while the reverse has a large fancy blank monogram shield surrounded by floral designs, sloped bezels, a heavy bow and slightly recessed hinges, case is showing normal even wear with a bit of smoothing to the engraving near the bezels along with a few scratches on the dust cover and inner frame from opening attempts, additionally there are some spots of patina on the case that we can polish off on request however many of our customers prefer the natural patina and the case has only been hand polished with a cloth for processing, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 72mm in length x 16mm thick. A handsome, high quality silver-cased Waltham from the 1880s in excellent+ overall condition!
