Waltham 6S/12S 11J hunting case movement (HCM) grade W pocket watch #6092177, 6S movement has been fit to an over-sized case that is approximately a 12S, nickel split plate movement with a fancy plate layout, screw down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, mint single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds register, blue steel spade-style hands, re-cased into a thin-model yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with bead-edge bezels and engine turning around the fancy monogram shield, monogram in fancy script possibly "WF", glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear overall with the smoothing of the engraving in some spots, also some brass is starting to show on the frame and pendant, measures approx. 48mm in diameter x 66mm in length x 11mm thick (crystal included). An attractive watch from the late 1800s in excellent condition!
