Illinois 17S 23J lever set (LS) adj. 6p 60 hour Sangamo Special pocket watch #4558617, impressive nickel bridge plate movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS) with bold red ruby jewels, a gold train and center wheel and a wide bar style damascene pattern, note that while the movement is not marked for 60 hour this watch is in a documented run of Sangamo Specials with unmarked 60 hour motor barrels, double sunk (DS) hard enamel dial with fancy black Arabic style numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black marked subsidiary seconds register has a small factory defect at the edge near 12 o'clock along with a few very shallow faint scratches but no deep hairlines or damage, bold blue steel diamond-style hands, heavy white gold filled (WGF) Sangamo Special model smooth polish hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case with coin edge bezels, large "X" engravings along the frame and matching heavy shoulders and rigid bow, case is showing normal even wear overall with some small spots of brass on the frame and bow, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 62mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A very high quality and desirable triple signed Illinois pocket watch from the 1920s in excellent+ overall condition!
