Hamilton 10S 17J adj. 3p grade 917 pocket watch #X76535, handsome nickel split plate movement with raised gold jewel settings and a bar-style damascene pattern, beautiful single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial has a 2-tone effect with a matte finish on the outer ring with polished gold fancy Arabic numbers and a brushed finish inner section, black-marked subsidiary seconds register with a similar matte and brushed finish contrast, dial has a few very small scratches but no heavy damage or discoloration, blue steel wedge style hands, impressive thin-model Hamilton "Cole" model yellow gold filled (YGF) friction fit smooth polish case with a coin edge frame, fancy heavy bow, recessed crown, glass crystal and a monogram on the back reading "J.F.G. Jr.", case is showing light wear overall however it does have a number of small scratches on the back cover, we think from a display stand or similar, measures approx. 43mm in diameter x 52mm in length x 9mm thick (crystal included). This watch also comes with a Hamilton off-white and gold Lucite display box with a cream-colored satin and royal blue velvet fitted interior, a thin muslin protective pouch and an outer light and dark blue cardboard shipping carton that is marked with matching serial numbers printed on it. A high grade triple signed dress watch from the 1940s in excellent+ overall condition!
