Incredible yellow gold filled (YGF) multi-colored hunting case (HC) with smooth polish covers supporting unique elaborate designs, one side has a raised rose gold elk head next to a raised rose gold slanted bar design that may be a fraternal order emblem, below these are white, green, yellow and rose gold flowers and leaves, opposite side has a slightly raised fancy blank rose gold monogram shield surrounded by white, green, yellow and rose gold flowers and leaves, vermicelli engraving on the frame and a large heavy bow, case is showing normal even wear overall with very little smoothing to the multi-colored designs however there is a thin line of brass starting on the bezels & bow along with a small patch of discoloration on the frame between the hinges, likely from a hinge repair as the front cover, while it secures and closes flush to the frame, does open out past 90 degrees from the frame, measures approx. 55mm in diameter x 79mm in length x 19mm thick.
A very impressive Aurora watch from the 1880s, a company that was later purchased and merged into the Hamilton brand, in excellent overall condition!
