Hamilton 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 992E pocket watch #2603554, handsome nickel split plate movement with an Elinvar marked balance wheel/hairspring modification, screw-down gold jewel settings, gold center wheel and a bar-style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black marked subsidiary seconds register has an arc of light discoloration under the bezel along the lower half of the dial however no hairlines or notable damage, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands.
Impressive Wadsworth white gold filled (WGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) model #2 bar-over crown case with a smooth polish back cover, deep half-circle engraved designs around both bezels, heavy Greek-key engraved shoulders with a recessed crown topped with a bar to prevent the unnecessary extension of the crown into the time-set position, a fancy bow with circle engraved details and a glass crystal, case is showing normal light wear overall with no notable smoothing to the engraving however there are some unusual short scratches on the upper-back bezel along with a few dot-scratches across the upper half of the case, possibly from a display stand or similar, additionally there are a few small spots of brass starting to show on the bow and bar, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 62mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A very high quality and attractive railroad grade Hamilton from the 1930s in excellent+ overall condition!
