Waltham 16S 23J lever set (LS) adj. 6p Vanguard Up & Down indicator pocket watch #26129831, handsome nickel bridge movement with a Lossier hairspring, raised gold jewel settings, a gold center wheel, diamond endstone and an elaborate concentric circle and checkerboard damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with large fancy Arabic-style numbers, a black marked subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and a subsidiary 0-24 marked wind indicator register at 12 o'clock has a short faint hairline at 6 o'clock but is otherwise mint, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, impressive yellow gold filled (YGF) Keystone screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish case with crisp coin edge engraving on both bezels, a short heavy pendant with a recessed crown, a large heavy bow and a glass crystal, the case is showing only very light even wear with normal light scuffing associated with careful use however no brass, heavy scratches or defects, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An classic, high quality Waltham railroad grade watch from the 1920s in excellent+ overall condition!
