Gotham 40mm 7J grade HJMX pocket watch #8635, distinctive silver-flashed nickel movement with an art-deco themed split plate layout, a brushed finish and a bold red ruby jewel endcap, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, raised fancy gold Arabic numbers and a black marked seconds register has a few small spots of discoloration and some patina on the numbers, gold steel whip style hands, thin-model white base metal (WBM) chrome friction fit case with vertical line engraving on the back around the fancy blank monogram shield on the upper-left, sloped bezels, a fancy bow, recessed crown and a glass crystal, case is showing normal wear overall with a few small scratches on the back cover, a few small spots of discoloration on the pendant & bow and an adhesive burn on the glass crystal from old adhesive that was left too long on the crystal and has created a shadow spot; we can replace the crystal with a new plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 44mm in diameter x 53mm in length x 8mm thick (crystal included). A very unusual watch from the mid-1900s in excellent overall condition!
