Longines for J.E. Caldwell & Co. 41mm 15J adj. 3p cal. 17.25 pocket watch #2508990, attractive nickel bridge movement with red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, marked on the movement "made for the J.E. Caldwell & Co. by Longines W. Co.", unmarked porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, gold filigree ball minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, mixed style gold steel filigree Louis XIV style hands, elegant 0.935 Sterling silver smooth polish Longines hinge back (HB) case with a large circular monogram shield on the back with the initials "EWR", a sculpted pendant and a heavy bow, case is showing normal even wear with some small spots of discoloration around some of the letters of the monogram and on the frame along with a few short scratches on the dust cover & frame near the case lip, measures approx. 44mm in diameter x 60mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A high quality Sterling cased Longines dress watch from the early 1900s, commissioned for a prominent Philadelphia jeweler, in excellent overall condition!
