Ball-Hamilton 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 999P Official RR Standard pocket watch #B654326, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and a uniform concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with bold Arabic numbers (Ball's version of boxcar style) and a subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, blue steel spade style hands, re-cased into a yellow gold filled (YGF) Ball Official RR Standard model screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish case with stepped bezels finished with deep engravings of small squares & stylized figure-8s, short heavy pendant with a slightly recessed crown and a heavy fancy stirrup-style bow, case is showing normal even wear with some thin lines of brass starting to show on the bezels & bow, additionally it appears the crown is a replacement to the case, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). An impressive, high quality triple signed railroad grade Ball from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
