Hamilton 16S 21J LS adj. 5p grade 992 pocket watch #1113548, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and a bar-style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel Montgomery dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, red & black Arabic minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a scratch line near the edge from 4 to 10 o'clock, likely from not being set flush in a previous case and over time the bezel cut a line, however no hairlines, blue steel spade style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with an elaborate blank monogram surrounded by floral designs at 6 o'clock, a line of cross-hatch engraving on the front bezel, a long sculpted pendant and a large heavy bow, case is showing normal wear with some smoothing to the engravings, a few small nicks on the frame and some small spots of brass starting to show on the frame, front bezel, pendant and bow, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 73mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). An attractive railroad grade Hamilton from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
