Illinois 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 3p Santa Fe Special grade 806 pocket watch #2885687, beautiful nickel split plate 2-tone movement with raised screw-down jewel settings, a gold center wheel and an elaborate checkerboard and radiant line damascene pattern with the checkerboard section finished with some gold flashing to create the 2-tone effect, the movement finish does have some fading from cleaning, mint porcelain enamel double sunk (DS) Montgomery dial with bold Gothic-style Arabic numbers, red & black Arabic minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register is marked "Santa Fe Special", blue steel spade & whip style hands, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) Santa Fe case with a detailed engraving of a stag leaping over the hills surrounded by large floral engraving, a heavy French-style bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing normal moderate wear with some smoothing to the engraving along with some brass showing on the frame, bezels, pendant & bow, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 67mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A very attractive, high quality triple signed Illinois from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
