Illinois 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 6p Bunn Special pocket watch #4640805, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down raised gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold train & center wheel and a lovely radiating sunburst style damascene pattern, the black lettering on the movement is faded in places from cleaning, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some short faint hairlines, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, impressive yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish screw back & bezel (SB&B) Bunn Special model #28 case with coin edge bezels, heavy sculpted shoulders with swirl engravings, a recessed crown, a fancy bow with geometric engravings and a thick glass crystal, case is showing moderate wear with notable smoothing and brass on the bezels & bow, brass on the frame & shoulders, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). An attractive high quality triple signed railroad grade Illinois from the 1920s in good overall condition, perfect to carry everyday!
