Elgin 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 8p B.W. Raymond grade 571 pocket watch #F161614, handsome nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, mint porcelain enamel Montgomery dial with fancy Arabic style numbers, red & black Arabic 1-60 minute markers and a black-marked seconds register that has an engraved line around it giving it the look of a subsidiary dial from the top, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, attractive Elgin model 3056 smooth polish screw back & bezel (SB&B) yellow gold filled (YGF) case with deep diamond & bar engraved bezels, heavy stepped shoulders with a recessed crown, a fancy faceted bow and a glass crystal, case is showing light normal wear with some small nicks on the frame, a tiny bit of brass just starting to show on the back bezel & bow and an expert repair on the frame under the back cover by the 1 o'clock case screw where it looks like the frame was rebuilt to be a better base for that screw, measures approx. 49mm in diameter x 61mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An impressive, high grade triple signed railroad grade Elgin from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
