Raymond grade 478 pocket watch #28406868, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and a bar-style damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with boxcar style Arabic numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines at 7 o'clock, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, handsome yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish Elgin Model 39 case with a checkerboard design engraving on the bezels, a short heavy pendant that is marked "Elgin R.R.", a recessed crown and a large bow, case is showing normal wear with some notable brass showing on the bezels, frame and pendant, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 64mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). An attractive railroad grade triple signed Elgin from the 1920s in very good overall condition, perfect to carry everyday!
