Elgin 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 9p B.W. Raymond grade 571 pocket watch #R741770, handsome nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, porcelain enamel dial with boxcar style Arabic numbers, a black imitation double sunk (DS) accent line and a black-marked seconds register with an engraved border is marked "B.W. Raymond Elgin", dial does have a faint hairline, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish Elgin model #3055 screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with tapered bezels featuring slightly raised borders, stepped heavy shoulders, a recessed crown and a fancy heavy bow, case is showing normal even wear with a few small spots of brass and small scratches on the bezels, frame & bow, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 61mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). An attractive, high quality railroad grade Elgin from the 1950s in excellent+ overall condition!
