Elgin 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p Father Time grade 454 pocket watch #22555294, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with coin edge engraved bezels, a short heavy pendant with a recessed crown detail, a heavy rectangular bow and a slightly domed glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with some spots of brass showing on the bezels, frame, pendant & bow, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A high quality railroad grade Elgin from the 1920s in excellent overall condition!
