Hamilton 18S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 941 pocket watch #205717, handsome nickel full plate movement with screw-down jewel settings, an elaborate fancy line & concentric circle damascene pattern and a jeweler's mark "H.A. Bromberg Battle Creek, Mich.", double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, red 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, bold blue steel spade style hands, impressive yellow gold filled (YGF) fully engraved hunting case (HC) with elaborate vermicelli engraved designs around the outer bezels and on the frame, center of each side then has large floral & geometric designs framing the center focal, a steam engine with a cattle guard on one side and a large geometric design on the reverse, a heavy large bow and glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with notable smoothing to the engraving in places with some small spots of brass starting to show on the bow, pendant & bezels, measures approx. 54mm in diameter x 81mm in length x 19mm thick. A high grade Hamilton, one that was considered railroad grade at the time of production, in a desirable locomotive-engraved case, from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
