16" remembrance hair straight-style pocket watch chain with yellow gold filled (YGF) finishes, t-bar finding and a YGF heart-shaped locket fob, dark brown hair has been carefully braided and twisted together to form the entire length of the chain and is capped on both ends by faceted-design YGF finials with geometric engraving on alternating panels, at the center of the chain is a faceted YGF wide band with vermicelli engraving and a connector loop, currently connected to the loop is a lovely YGF heart-shaped picture locket fob, fob has a floral design around a fancy angled blank monogram shield on the front with vermicelli engraving around the beveled edge, smooth polish back and a sturdy top connector loop, locket opens to hold two photos with a small frame on each side to hold the photos secure, one side of the chain is finished with a short length of oval link chain and a slender YGF t-bar with a raised center cuff detail, opposite end is finished with a small YGF classic style swivel clasp; chain findings, hair and fob are all showing normal even wear with a few small spots of brass showing on a few of the components and some moderate wear across the fob front, measures approx. 405mm in length, chain hair measures approx. 6mm in diameter, fob measures approx. 23mm wide x 28mm tall x 4mm thick. An attractive chain and fob set from the 1800s in excellent overall condition!
