11.5" yellow gold filled (YGF) double strand curb link Albert style pocket watch chain with slide, swivel detail t-bar finding, and a fancy YGF picture locket fob, two light weight YGF strands of curb link chain with a flat profile comprise the entire length of the primary and fob drop arms of the chain, both sections are finished on each end with a YGF double barrel style finial, along the primary length of the chain is a fancy YGF smooth polish slide with scalloped edges, sturdy YGF center connector ring, short segment of oval links creates the finding arm of the chain and is finished with a smooth polish YGF t-bar with raised center cuff detail with a swivel center, primary chain length is finished with a medium-sized YGF classic swivel clasp.
Fob arm length is finished with an elaborate diamond-shaped YGF picture locket fob, fob is finished with a detailed floral and geometric engraved pattern on one side and is smooth polish on the reverse, fancy YGF wire filigree frame and a coin edge engraving on the sides, opens to reveal two places for a photo with one having a small border to frame and secure a photo; chain findings, links and fob are all showing normal moderate wear overall with spots of brass showing on all components along with some moderately heavy wear on the fob, additionally the reverse side of the slide is open to reveal the chains passing through it, this does not affect the functionality of the slide or nor can it be seen while worn however it is typical that slides of this style are finished on both sides so it is of note that the back is open. Chain measures approx. 290mm in length, chain links measure approx. 2.5x3.5mm, fob measures approx. 24mm wide x 29mm tall x 3mm thick. A handsome vintage chain and fob set, still very nice looking even with the signs of wear, in very good overall condition!
