14" mixed 14k & 10k rope-link straight style pocket watch chain with lion's head finials and an elaborate button-hook finding, thin 10k (tested) square links have been interconnected to form a sinuous box-link style chain length which is finished on one end with a heavy, sculpted 14k (tested) lion's head finial which in turn connects to the the elaborate 14k (tested) smooth polish button-hook finding with sculpted floral designs at the base, opposite end of the chain is finished with a sculpted art-deco floral design finial which in turn connects to the large heavy 14k (tested) screw down swivel clasp with sculpted floral designs along the base and curve.
Chain links & findings are showing normal even wear with some light smoothing in places to some of the sculpted elements along with some notable thinning on a few of the links where they rub against each other, additionally the two brass brads at the base of swivel & hook look like they may have been gold filled or capped at one point however they are now exposed although mostly hidden when worn due to the placement of each within the connector ring of each finding, overall length is approx. 350mm, chain links measure approx. 2.5x2.5mm, weighs approx. 12.3dwt. A very impressive, high quality gold chain from the early 1900s, perfect to pair with your heirloom gold watch, in excellent overall condition!
