S.A.M. & Co. 12" yellow gold filled (YGF) double-strand Albert-style pocket watch chain with a swivel t-bar and round YGF & opal picture locket fob, two strands of small oval curb-style YGF links with a flat, beveled profile comprise both the main length and fob drop arm, each side of the primary length is finished with fancy YGF finial caps engraved with geometric designs, along the length of the chain is a fancy YGF shield-shaped slide with matching geometric engraved patterns on one side and a fancy floral design on the reverse, one end of the chain is finished with a large heavy YGF swivel clasp while the opposite end is attached to the sturdy center connector ring, from the ring is also attached a YGF smooth polish t-bar with a raised center detail with a swivel accent and the fob drop arm.

Attached to the end of the fob drop arm is a matching YGF round fancy picture locket fob, fob is smooth polish with a raised geometric and leaf design around the outer top edge accented with stippled engraving, star engraving in the middle with a vibrant opal set in the center and a fancy filigree outer frame with a sturdy top connector loop, fob is hinged on the bottom and opens to reveal a glass covered picture area and a second picture could be fit into the opposite side but would have no bezel to secure it.

Chain links, findings and locket are all showing normal moderate wear with all components showing some signs of brass but with no notable damage or defects, overall chain length is approx. 310mm, chain links measure approx. 3x4mm, fob measures approx. 24mm wide x 28mm tall x 5mm thick. A very handsome vintage chain and fob set, perfect to dress up your favorite gold filled pocket watch, in excellent overall condition!
