Impressive mixed 14k, 10k and enamel BPOE (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks) elk's tooth pocket watch chain fob, heavy 14k (marked) cap over a light off-white large elk tooth has a crown of engraved gold filigree designs, center of the cap front has "44" in dark blue enamel above a raised, deeply engraved gold deception of an elk's head with wide spread antlers, back side of the fob has a raised center round detail that has been set with a silver-toned disk engraved with roman numerals to represent a clock face, overall the fob is showing only light wear however the clock face is moderately worn and may be a later addition to the fob, measures approx. 24mm wide x 39mm tall, weighs approx. 5.1dwt. When testing this piece, the filigree and cap tested to 14k, the elk design on the front to 10k, and the clock face on the back was inconclusive and may be low karat gold. A beautiful, vintage BPOE watch chain fob in excellent+ condition!
