Impressive Wahl yellow gold filled (YGF) & steel "Eversharp" pencil pocket watch chain fob, a long tube of YGF has been engraved with chevron and vertical line designs and tapers with a smooth polish finish at the pencil opening, heavy YGF top with an outer flare of deeply engraved floral designs and a sturdy top connector ring pulls out from the tube to reveal the heavy steel interior that will hold the lead and twist to advance it when in use, marked along the top of the tube "Wahl Eversharp Gold Filled Made in USA", fob is showing only light even wear overall with some small spots of discoloration on the small bit of steel tip at the pencil opening but hardly any smoothing or scratching to the YGF areas, measures approx. 11mm diameter at the top x 107mm in length while closed; due to the size of the fob we do suggest pairing it with a chain of heavier weight. A lovely example of American craftsmanship from the mid-1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
