Handsome white gold filled (WGF), enamel & glass rectangular Pythian Sisters (PFLE) pocket watch chain fob, lovely frosted rectangular glass fob base with angled corners and a sunburst recessed engraving on the back side is framed with a WGF bezel engraved with geometric designs on the top edge, smooth polish sides & back and a small top connector loop, center of the fob has a raised WGF shield-shaped decorative accent finished with white, red, yellow and blue enamel and is marked "P5" in silver at the top and "PFLE" in silver within the design, fob is in excellent condition with a little brass showing on the back edges along with some light scuffing on the frosted glass area, measures approx. 18mm wide x 29mm tall x 4mm thick; this is a lightweight fob that could have been used as the counterweight on a chatelaine-style chain, as a pendant, or as a fob on a traditional watch chain. A lovely vintage fob from the mid-1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
