Distinctive 14k round star and shield pocket watch chain fob, round puffed fob base with a scalloped smooth polish detail surrounded by coin edge engraving and beaded details on the edge, one side has a raised smooth polish star against a matte finish recessed background, reverse side has a raised design of pattée-cross and crowns around a gloss center detail against a matte background, small top connector loop with a wide smooth polish ring, side frame of the fob and wide ring are both marked for 14k, fob components also test to 14k, large ring is yellow gold filled (YGF) and can be removed by us on request, fob is showing light even wear with no heavy scratches or damage but there are a number of small spots of discoloration, likely from improper gold testing attempts, measures approx. 26mm in diameter x 34mm tall (no YGF ring), 48mm tall (with YGF ring) x 10mm thick, weighs approx. 4.5dwt (YGF ring excluded). A handsome vintage solid gold watch chain fob in excellent+ overall condition!
