Waltham 6-OS 16J adj. Ruby ladies' pocket watch #14120757, impressive nickel split plate movement with raised screw-down jewel settings and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, blue steel spade style hands.
Beautiful yellow gold filled (YGF) fully engraved hunting case (HC) with both covers engraved with a matching art-deco design of radiant geometric figures interspaced with large floral accents around a fancy monogram shield on the lower half, empty spaces along the lower half have been filled with a stippled engraving while the empty spaces along the top remain smooth polish, monogram shield on one side is blank while the reverse has an engraving of a boat house with a sailboat in the distance, sculpted pendant, a small heavy bow, a glass crystal and a heavy loop on the frame to allow a watch band to be attached to the watch and to be worn as a wrist watch if desired.
Case is showing normal light wear with hardly any smoothing to the engraving however there is a small bit of discoloration on the wrist watch attachment from what looks like an expert repair along with a small divot on the interior of the bow from hanging off a chain, measures approx. 30mm in diameter x 45mm in length x 9mm thick. An amazing, high grade Waltham ladies' watch from the early 1900s in excellent+ condition!
